Editor's review
Graph plotter is an application that can plot 2D graphs of complex equations. it has algebraic, hyperbolic and transcendental functions. The tool helps verify results of non-linear regression analysis.
Graph plotter program can plot 2D graphs of complex algebraic, trigonometric, hyperbolic and transcendental functions and equations. These plots can help confirm if the results of non-linear regression analysis is yielding valid results.
This is a tool that gives engineers and researchers the power to graphically review equations. This can also be a great academic tool for both teachers and students. The GUI is designed to help the function the program is aimed at. The largest area of the interface space is given over to display of the plot of the given equation. A flexible work area lets you type in your equations directly. You can do text editing of the equation in the text field provided. Annotate, edit and repeat your graphing in the work area. Equations can be copied and pasted into the text area.
You specify plots' Min and Max as well as the incremental steps and then ask the program to plot the equation and you get one with annotated axes that are suitably marked. The companion area displays a set of points showing the X and Y co-ordinates. The expression length could be unlimited and is compatible with parenthesis use.
More than 35 functions and 40 constants are handled in the program. Online documentation provides all the instructions that are needed. There are a large number of areas, particularly in academics and research and engineering areas that need curve fitting, particularly the non-linear kind that can use this tool to great effect.
